Projects aimed at connecting several areas of the Haffouz delegation in the Kairouan governorate to the drinking water network have recorded a progress rate of between 30% and 100%. This was reported by Nedra Ben Rejeb, correspondent of the National Radio in the region, during a telephone intervention today, Tuesday, December 9, 2025, on the National Radio waves. Our correspondent specified that the project to connect the Cherichira area to drinking water is now completed, benefiting 1,200 families, at a total cost of 9 million dinars. Meanwhile, the connection works in the El Alia region have progressed by 99%, the same percentage achieved by the Douar Ouled Mohamed project, which costs 400,000 dinars. The connection works at Douar Haj Ammar are expected to be completed before the end of this year, allowing 350 families to benefit from drinking water. In contrast, the works in the Jalel area have progressed by 30%, a project that had previously experienced delays. The number of families that will benefit from this last project is 1,200 families, according to the National Radio correspondent in Kairouan.
