Tunisian President Kaïs Saïed Chairs Council of Ministers Meeting

The President of the Republic, Kaïs Saïed, chaired the Council of Ministers meeting on Friday morning, September 22, according to a statement published on the official Facebook page of the presidency.

Key Discussions and Decisions

The Council examined several draft legislative texts. On this occasion, the Head of State reiterated that "Tunisia is moving forward with firm steps and there will be no going back." He affirmed that "the revolutionary process is continuing in all fields" to fulfill the commitments made to the Tunisian people in all regions and sectors.

Fight Against Corruption and Lobbying

The President expressed his unwavering determination to eliminate lobbies and their allies within many public institutions, while continuing the fight against corruption in all its forms. He also mentioned the goal of redistributing wealth for the benefit of the people, so that there are "no poor or deprived people."

Addressing Abnormal Phenomena

Kaïs Saïed also referred to "many abnormal phenomena exposed to the light of day." According to him, "those who were still passing themselves off as sworn enemies have seen their defects revealed and their vices appear, because from the beginning they had shared roles among themselves and were, contrary to what they showed, faithful allies and accomplices."

Legislative Solutions

The President added that "the puppeteer manipulates them like puppets from behind the scenes, and he is known." The Head of State emphasized that legislative texts must provide "radical solutions, particularly for those whose unemployment has been prolonged and who have been victims of impoverishment and corruption." He declared that "the revolution must erase what preceded it" and that "thanks to revolutionary texts, the enemies will collapse."

A New Era for Tunisia

Kaïs Saïed affirmed that "youth will come in the coming days to pursue a new construction of the homeland, whose pillars will be true and complete freedom, social justice, dignity, greatness, and authentic glory."
