Tunisian President Reaffirms Commitment to Securing Release of Detained Citizens
The President of the Republic, Kaïs Saïed, reiterated on Thursday, October 2, at the Carthage Palace, during his meeting with Mohamed Ali Nafti, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration, and Tunisians Abroad, the need to redouble efforts to ensure the swift return of Tunisians detained by the Zionist entity's forces.
He emphasized that intensive diplomatic work has been underway for several days without interruption, affirming that the Tunisian state will never abandon its national responsibilities. "Tunisia remains firm on its principled positions, and its voice is heard and respected worldwide regarding the crimes committed against the Palestinian people," he added.
In this context, the President reaffirmed Tunisia's constant position on the Palestinian people's right to recover all their rights and establish their independent state on the entire Palestinian territory, fully sovereign, with al-Quds as its capital.
