Key Issues Facing Schools in Jendouba

El Faddawi stressed that some schools have not been maintained since the independence era, and others suffer from interrupted work, stating that "each incident reveals the bitter reality of the situation of schools." He cited the example of the 9 Avril High School, which "suffers from deteriorating infrastructure and requires complete demolition and reconstruction." He also mentioned that the Jendouba Pilot High School "suffers from overcrowding, and a study room was removed to be converted into a classroom."

Other Problems Facing Schools

The official also mentioned other problems, including:

  • A high number of students per class, reaching up to 40 students
  • A severe lack of human resources El Faddawi's statements highlight the need for urgent attention to the issues facing schools in Jendouba and across the Republic, to ensure a safe and effective learning environment for students.
