Minister of Education Commits to Special Program for Damaged Schools in Jendouba
During a working visit to the governorate of Jendouba on Tuesday, Minister of Education Noureddine Nouri pledged to implement a special, exceptional, and rapid program for the maintenance of educational institutions affected by recent severe weather conditions (heavy rains and strong winds) in the region.
Accelerated Procedures for Infrastructure
The Minister specified that his department would adopt the direct negotiation formula for this program. According to him, this is the most effective and rapid method for treating cracks in walls and ceilings, as well as for repairing or replacing certain equipment. This decision is justified by the climate emergency and the need to ensure the safety of students and teachers.
Mr. Nouri acknowledged, in a statement to the press, the degradation of infrastructure in several establishments in Jendouba. He emphasized that this finding necessitated this exceptional program, in parallel with the reactivation of already ongoing projects to ensure their completion and operation according to priorities.
