Tunisian swimmer Jamila Boulakbèche won the silver medal in the 800m freestyle event on Saturday at the 6th edition of the Islamic Solidarity Games in Riyadh.
Medal Standings
- Boulakbèche finished the race in 2nd place with a time of 8 minutes 57 seconds 01 hundredth, behind Turkish swimmer Selinnur Sad, who won the gold medal with a time of 8 minutes 44 seconds 64 hundredths.
- The bronze medal was awarded to another Turkish swimmer, Belis Sakar, with a time of 9 minutes 5 seconds 53 hundredths.
Tunisia's Medal Count
This is the second medal won by Tunisia at these Games, after Oumaïma Bédioui won bronze earlier in the day in the -48kg judo event.
