Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei Expected to Speak After US‑Israeli Strikes
According to Iranian media, Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei is slated to deliver a speech within the next few minutes following the recent U.S. and Israeli airstrikes that targeted Iran.
At the same time, a Zionist official claimed that their assessments indicate the Supreme Leader has been killed.
- The Hebrew‑language channel Channel 12 echoed this statement:
“Our evaluations tend to confirm that Khamenei has been eliminated.”
- Sky News Arabia reported that the Zionist public service also noted Khamenei is currently unreachable, adding further confusion to the situation.
In contrast, Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi acknowledged that the regime has lost several senior officials as a result of the strikes. He emphasized, however, that based on the information at his disposal, Ali Khamenei is still alive and that, in his view, the incident does not constitute a major problem for the country.
This announcement comes amid extreme tensions in the Gulf, with a heightened risk of a major military escalation following the U.S.–Israeli attacks on Iranian territory.
