The Iranian President’s Son Confirms Supreme Guide Mujtaba Khamenei Is “Doing Well”
The son of Iran’s president confirmed on Wednesday that the new Supreme Guide, Mujtaba Khamenei, is “in good health,” despite reports that he was wounded during the war against the Zionist entity and the United States.
Youssef Pezechkian, a government adviser, wrote on his Telegram channel that he had heard the rumors about Mujtaba Khamenei’s injury. He said he consulted several friends with an extensive network of contacts, who assured him that, “thanks to God, he is fine.”
After the announcement that Mujtaba Khamenei would succeed his father, Ali Khamenei—who was assassinated on the first day of the war on 28 February—the state television aired a documentary outlining the major milestones of his life. The broadcast noted that he is a “wounded veteran of the Ramadan war, which is still ongoing.”
