Iran Announces Shift to Continuous Strikes Amid Heightened Regional Tensions

Ibrahim Dhou al‑Faqari, spokesperson for the Khatam al‑Anbiya military headquarters in Tehran, said on Wednesday that Iran will now move from a “proportional retaliation” strategy to continuous strikes against its adversaries, citing the escalating regional tensions.

In statements relayed by Iranian media, the senior military official also claimed that the United States will be unable to control oil price movements.

“We will not allow a single litre of oil to reach the United States, the Zionists, and their allies. Any vessel or tanker heading toward them will be considered a legitimate target,” he declared.

Al‑Faqari further warned that the current tensions could have a direct impact on global energy markets.

“Prepare to see the price of a barrel of oil reach $200, because oil prices depend on regional security, which you have destabilized,” he added.
