SNTRI Introduces Contactless Payment Option for Bus Tickets

The National Interurban Transport Company (SNTRI) has announced the launch of a new electronic payment service using bank cards for purchasing bus tickets, as part of its strategy to modernize and simplify services for users.

This new system is currently operational at stations in Bab Alioua and Bab Saadoun in Tunis, as well as at agencies in Gafsa, Tozeur, Nefta, Djerba Houmt Souk, and Djerba Midoun.

According to SNTRI, the goal of this new solution is to improve the customer experience by making it easier to access ticketing services and reducing the need for cash payments.

The company has also stated that this service will be gradually rolled out to all ticket sales points across the national territory, with the aim of further modernizing the interurban transport system and supporting the transition to digital services.
