Tunis Governorate Holds Meeting to Discuss Industrial Zones
The Tunis Governorate held a working session on Tuesday morning to review the situation of the Charguia Industrial Zone and the Kheireddine Industrial Zone in La Goulette.
Meeting Details
The meeting, chaired by Tunis Governor Imed Boukhris, was attended by several regional officials and representatives from concerned structures. According to a statement released by the Governorate, the discussion focused on the state of the two industrial zones and the difficulties faced by the groups responsible for their maintenance and management.
Charguia Industrial Zone
For the Charguia 1 Industrial Zone, participants agreed to develop a work program outlining priority interventions. This plan will be submitted to concerned structures to launch necessary actions as soon as possible.
Kheireddine Industrial Zone
Regarding the Kheireddine Industrial Zone in La Goulette, it was decided to send a correspondence to the Ministry of Industry, Mines, and Energy to explore the possibility of expanding the original zone's territorial boundaries. This move aims to facilitate the organization of new elections for the group responsible for maintenance and management.
Attendees
The meeting was attended by the Cité El Khadra delegate, the Secretary General in charge of La Goulette municipal affairs, the President of the Economic and Investment Affairs Circumscription at the Governorate, regional directors of development and sanitation, and several representatives from public organizations and national companies, including STEG, SONEDE, and the Industrial Land Agency.
