Death Toll from Recent Indonesia Floods and Landslides Reaches 1003
The death toll from the recent floods and landslides that hit Indonesia has reached 1003, while 218 people are still missing, the National Disaster Management Agency announced on Saturday. The agency specified that the floods, which affected the provinces of North Sumatra, West Sumatra, and Aceh two weeks ago, have also left more than 5,400 people injured, and 1.2 million people are still living in temporary shelters.
