First Group of Tunisian Activists from Flottille Soumoud Arrives in Tunis

A first group of ten Tunisian activists, released after being detained in the occupied Palestinian territories, arrived on Sunday, October 5, at Tunis-Carthage International Airport.

Upon their arrival, a large crowd gathered to give them a warm and emotional welcome, consisting of Tunisian citizens, pro-Palestinian activists, association representatives, as well as members of civil society and the media. Many slogans of support and encouragement were chanted, hailing these activists as "symbols of resistance and Arab solidarity".

These activists, engaged in humanitarian, media, and militant actions in support of the Palestinian people, were participating in the Flottille Soumoud, a solidarity initiative in the Palestinian territory.

The Flottille Soumoud had called for a significant mobilization for this welcome, which resulted in a strong popular presence at the airport.
