As part of the Project to Support Research and Higher Education in the Environment Sector (ARESSE), funded by the European Union, the National Agency for the Promotion of Scientific Research (ANPR) organized a signing ceremony for the MOBIDOC Green Post-Doc conventions this Wednesday at the Tunis Science City. This device, launched by the ANPR in 2012, aims to strengthen the links between scientific research and the socio-economic fabric. It offers young researchers the opportunity to develop applied projects that directly meet the needs of businesses, local authorities, associations, or research centers.

The MOBIDOC Green is a continuation of this approach, specifically targeting environmental themes, including:

  • Climate change
  • Circular economy
  • Waste management and valorization
  • Renewable energies
  • Biodiversity
  • Sustainable management of natural resources
  • Sustainable urbanization

"With MOBIDOC Green, we want to support Tunisian municipalities in their environmental actions and encourage partnership research around field needs," said Prof. Chedly Abdelly, Director General of ANPR and national coordinator of the ARESSE project. He added that this program "allows young researchers to develop a double scientific and professional competence, thus strengthening their employability and entrepreneurial spirit."

Beyond funding, the MOBIDOC device contributes to technology transfer, research valorization, and professional integration of young doctors. Since its launch, it has facilitated the publication of indexed scientific articles, patent filing, startup creation, and obtaining national and international funding.
