Tunisian Embassy in Brussels Hosts Evening to Promote Tunisian Olive Oil and Culinary Richness
The Tunisian Embassy in Brussels organized an evening to showcase the country's olive oil and culinary wealth. The event brought together professionals from distribution, restaurants, specialized media, as well as Belgian and European representatives. In his opening speech, Ambassador Sahbi Khalfallah highlighted the remarkable performance of the Tunisian olive oil sector over the past two campaigns. He emphasized the recognized quality of national olive oil, which has been awarded numerous international distinctions by several producers. A Tunisian chef provided a gastronomic demonstration, offering a series of creations that showcased olive oil and traditional culinary expertise. Guests had the opportunity to discover a selection of extra virgin olive oils, produced from first cold pressings, accompanied by artisanal products and tastings inspired by the region's terroir. This evening marked the closing of the "Tunisian Cultural Month in Belgium: from Carthage to Brussels".
