Tunisian Embassy in London Announces Exceptional Opening to Meet High Demand for National Identity Cards
The Tunisian Embassy in London has announced an exceptional opening of its premises this Friday, coinciding with Labour Day, to cater to the high influx of members of the Tunisian community seeking to complete their administrative procedures, particularly obtaining the national identity card.
In a statement published on its official Facebook page, the diplomatic mission explains that this initiative aims to enable the largest number of citizens to complete their formalities in optimal conditions, characterized by fluid procedures and improved organization of the reception.
This decision comes in the context of a growing demand for the extraction of national identity cards, an operation that will continue until May 6, 2026. Since its launch, this operation has seen a significant influx of Tunisians residing in the United Kingdom.
The embassy has also praised the contribution of the technical delegation from the Ministry of the Interior, dispatched to London to support the on-site teams. This collaboration has enabled the improvement of the efficiency of dossier processing and ensured the smooth running of the operation.
In line with a proximity approach, the Tunisian diplomatic mission reaffirms its commitment to offering high-quality administrative services and responding to the needs of the Tunisian community in the best possible conditions.
Finally, the embassy has indicated that the list of required documents for obtaining the national identity card is available online via the official portal of the Ministry of the Interior.
