President of the Republic, Kaïs Saïed, Attends the Official Opening of the 4th Edition of the Intra-African Trade Fair (IATF 2025)

President of the Republic, Kaïs Saïed, attended the official opening of the 4th edition of the Intra-African Trade Fair (IATF 2025) on Thursday, September 4, 2025, in Algiers, at the invitation of his Algerian counterpart, Abdelmadjid Tebboune.

Tunisia's Participation in IATF 2025

Tunisia is participating in this continental event with a 304m² national pavilion, bringing together over 24 exporting companies, including 12 small and medium-sized enterprises, 8 artisans, and 4 startups. An institutional space is also dedicated to the National Committee of the African Continental Free Trade Area (ZLECAf), the Chambers of Commerce and Industry, the Export Promotion Center, the Foreign Investment Promotion Agency, the Tunisian National Tourism Office, and the National Office of Handicrafts.

Participants cover a range of diversified and promising sectors, including:

Tunisia Day at IATF 2025

A Tunisia Day will be held on September 5, featuring a workshop on the national automotive industry and a presentation on Tunisia's strategy within the framework of the ZLECAf.

Ministerial Participation

At the invitation of the Algerian authorities and in accordance with the instructions of the President of the Republic, the Minister of Trade and Export Development will participate in the fair's proceedings, while the Minister of Industry, Energy, and Mines will attend the first edition of the African Automobile Fair, organized on the sidelines of IATF. Additionally, the President of the Tunisia Investment Authority (TIA) will speak at the Investment Forum.
