Tunisia Takes a Major Step towards Sustainable Mobility with the Launch of Hyacinth Automotive, the First Dealer Fully Dedicated to 100% Electric Vehicles

Hyacinth Automotive is poised to revolutionize the Tunisian automotive market with its comprehensive offering, including passenger cars, utility vehicles, and charging solutions, with deliveries scheduled to start by the end of September 2025.

All vehicles marketed by the company are certified according to European standards, ensuring safety, performance, and reliability. As a result, Hyacinth Automotive caters to both individuals and professionals, aiming to promote the adoption of electric vehicles in the country.

Utility Vehicle Range

The utility vehicle range includes the Cenntro Logistar 100, 210, and 260 models, designed to meet urban logistics needs with their robustness and autonomy. The company is also betting on Rapsev electric tricycles, already used internationally by companies like Amazon, DHL, and UPS. These tricycles will be produced locally in Korba through the industrial subsidiary Verreauxii, strengthening national production and job creation.

Electric Vehicles for Individuals and Company Fleets

For individuals and company fleets, the Avantier brand offers affordable electric vehicles, with a city car starting at 45,000 dinars (all taxes included) and a two-seater model, the Avantier C, priced at 28,700 dinars.

Charging Infrastructure

Hyacinth Automotive complements its offering with Pikka, a charging station system designed for businesses and fleet managers, addressing one of the main obstacles to the electrification of transportation in Tunisia.

Pre-Launch Testing and Results

Before its commercial launch, the company tested its vehicles and infrastructure for a year with delivery companies, e-commerce businesses, and industrial groups, achieving favorable results. This deployment positions Tunisia as an emerging player in electric mobility in North Africa and paves the way for the democratization of clean energy vehicles in the country.
