New QR Code Launched to Facilitate Access to Affordable Housing
A new QR code has been introduced to enable citizens to consult the list of housing units and land plots for sale through the Housing Promotion Fund for Employees (FOPROLOS), announced the Ministry of Equipment and Housing on Friday.
The Equipment Department specified in a statement that this QR code, accessible via mobile phone, also provides information on prices, real estate promoters, and the exact location of these properties.
As a reminder, FOPROLOS aims to help employees acquire housing through four different mechanisms:
- FOPROLOS 1: Targeted at employees with a monthly gross income between 1 and 2.5 times the guaranteed minimum interprofessional wage (SMIG), ranging from 564 to 1411 dinars.
- FOPROLOS 2: Available to Tunisians with a monthly gross income between 2.5 and 3.5 times the SMIG, ranging from 1411 to 1975 dinars.
- FOPROLOS 3: Accessible to citizens with a monthly gross income between 3.5 and 4.5 times the SMIG, ranging from 1975 to 2539 dinars.
- FOPROLOS 4: Targeted at employees with a monthly gross income between 4.5 and 6 times the SMIG, ranging from 2539 to 3386 dinars.
This new QR code is expected to facilitate access to affordable housing for eligible citizens, providing them with a convenient and user-friendly way to explore available properties and make informed decisions.
