Significant Precipitation Expected This Week in Several Regions of the Country
According to Tunisian meteorology expert Amer Bahbah, significant precipitation is expected this week in several regions of the country.
Appearing on Diwan Fm, Amer Bahbah indicated that the rains will continue throughout the night of Monday and the morning of Tuesday, primarily affecting the south of Tunisia, before gradually extending to the center of the country and the northeast.
He specified that the forecasted disturbances over the next 24 hours will remain weak to moderate, with rainfall accumulations ranging from 1 to 20 millimeters, potentially reaching up to 30 millimeters locally.
However, the expert emphasized that the most significant meteorological episode is expected mid-week, particularly on Friday, with the arrival of an atmospheric depression from Morocco. Rainfall quantities could then reach up to 60 millimeters in some regions, without posing any particular danger, he assured.
