Weather Alert: Heavy Rainfall Expected in Central and Southern Tunisia

Starting from tonight, Tuesday, November 18, 2025, several governorates in central and southern Tunisia will be affected by occasional thunderstorms and locally intense rainfall. The regions of Sfax, Gabès, Médenine, and Sidi Bouzid may receive between 20 and 40 mm of rain, with local accumulations reaching up to 60 mm, accompanied by strong winds, particularly during thunderstorms. The precipitation is expected to continue on Thursday, November 20, in the southeast, remaining temporarily stormy and locally abundant, according to the follow-up bulletin from the National Institute of Meteorology.
