Launch of the Tunisian Organization for Clean Energy (STEP)
The Tunisian Organization for Clean Energy (STEP) was officially launched on Saturday in Hammamet during its founding congress, bringing together companies, experts, young entrepreneurs, and investors from the renewable energy sector.
Main Objective
The primary goal of this new organization is to strengthen the position of clean energy in the national economy, stimulate investment and innovation, and defend the interests of the sector in the face of regulatory and operational challenges.
Key Objectives
STEP also aims to:
- Contribute to Tunisia's energy autonomy
- Preserve the environment
- Promote green employment, particularly among young people
Executive Board
The members of the STEP executive board were elected from among the participating companies, representing various segments of the sector, including solar energy. The congress provided an opportunity to address the main concerns of stakeholders in the field, as well as future strategic directions, with the aim of supporting the country's energy transition.

In a statement published on its Facebook page, the organization affirmed its commitment to respecting the law and professional ethics, while positioning itself as a proposal force for public authorities in the development of sustainable energy policies.
