Ministry of Agriculture Calls for Vigilance Ahead of Weather Disturbances
The Ministry of Agriculture, Water Resources, and Fisheries issued a warning on Tuesday, urging farmers to exercise caution to protect their livestock and agricultural equipment. The ministry advised farmers to relocate their animals and equipment away from rivers and streams in anticipation of the forecasted weather disturbances.
The ministry also exhorted farmers to securely fasten their greenhouses to prevent any potential risks caused by strong winds. As a reminder, the National Institute of Meteorology (INM) had announced that the weather conditions would be favorable for the formation of storm cells on Tuesday evening, accompanied by rain in the north and locally in the center, with a possibility of hail in some areas.
