Tunis Criminal Court Hands Down Life Sentence in Taxi Driver Murder Case
The Criminal Chamber of the Tunis Court of First Instance delivered its verdict last Friday, sentencing a young man to life in prison for the murder of a taxi driver, as well as for stealing the driver's money and vehicle in the El Kram Ouest region of the capital. This was confirmed by a judicial source to Diwan FM.
Incident Details
The incident occurred around midnight, when the defendant stabbed the taxi driver, stole his mobile phone and money, and then fled the scene. A rescue police patrol successfully apprehended the suspect, who subsequently confessed to the alleged crimes.
