Palestinian Health Authorities Report Two Deaths Due to Starvation and Malnutrition in Gaza
The Palestinian health authorities announced on Sunday the death of two Palestinians due to starvation and malnutrition in the Gaza Strip, which is under a strict blockade and facing a growing humanitarian crisis.
According to health officials, these two deaths bring the total number of Palestinians who have died from starvation and malnutrition to 422, including 145 children.
The humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip continues to deteriorate, exacerbated by the Israeli blockade and shortages of food and medicine. Since March 2, 2025, the crossing points into Gaza have been closed, preventing the entry of food and medical aid.
The UNRWA (United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees) has warned that malnutrition among children under the age of five has doubled between March and June, a direct consequence of the blockade.
