Gaza Strip Death Toll Rises to 65,062, Mostly Women and Children
According to medical sources, the death toll in the Gaza Strip has increased to 65,062, with the majority being women and children, since the start of the Israeli occupation's aggression on October 7, 2023. These same sources added that the number of injured has now risen to 165,697. Furthermore, many victims remain trapped under the rubble, and rescue and civil defense teams are unable to reach them. In the past 24 hours, 98 martyrs and 385 injured have arrived at hospitals in the Gaza Strip. The total death toll since March 18, following the violation of the ceasefire by the occupation, stands at 12,511 martyrs and 53,656 injured. The death toll related to the distribution of humanitarian aid has increased by 7 deaths and 87 injuries in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of martyrs of "the quest for bread" to 2,504 and the number of injured to 18,381. Finally, in the past 24 hours, hospitals in Gaza have recorded 4 new deaths due to starvation and malnutrition, bringing the total to 432 deaths, including 146 children.
