German Chancellor Friedrich Merz Announces Humanitarian Aid to Gaza
German Chancellor Friedrich Merz announced on Friday that his country will provide €29 million ($34 million) in immediate humanitarian aid to Gaza, following the approval of a ceasefire by the Zionist entity with the Palestinian Islamic resistance movement, Hamas. Merz stated on the X platform: "We will provide €29 million for humanitarian aid. We will launch, along with Egypt, a call for a conference for the reconstruction of Gaza."
