All Donations in Kind That Could Not Be Transported to Gaza Have Been Handed Over to the Tunisian Red Crescent, Says the Tunisian Soumoud Flotilla Committee
In a statement issued after a meeting held on Sunday, the committee specified that it has tasked its financial team with finalizing a report and publishing it to the general public within a 45-day period. Additionally, it has decided to donate the entire remaining amount to the children of Gaza through the "SOS Gammarth" association, emphasizing that all financial operations, from the opening to the closing of the donation campaign, took place under the supervision of a lawyer, a court bailiff, and an accountant. Furthermore, the Flotilla Committee reaffirmed that the action to break the blockade imposed on Gaza will continue until its total lifting. Solidarity with the Palestinian people will only end with the complete liberation of Palestine, the statement reads. The committee praised the central role played by Tunisia in this global effort, highlighting the image of its people as a pillar of support for national liberation causes, particularly the Palestinian cause.
