At Least 21,000 Children in Gaza Suffer from Disabilities Since the Start of the War on October 7, 2023
A United Nations committee announced on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, that at least 21,000 children in Gaza have suffered from disabilities since the start of the war.
According to the UN's "Committee on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities", out of approximately 40,500 children who have suffered "war-related injuries" over the past two years, more than half now suffer from disabilities.
The Israeli occupation continues its extermination war in Gaza by land, sea, and air, deliberately targeting civilians - including the elderly, women, and children - with rockets, shells, bullets, and drones.
It destroys homes and targets people waiting for humanitarian aid, resulting in thousands of victims, mostly women and children, without regard for those trapped under the rubble.
