Seismic Monitoring Stations Record Earthquake
Seismic monitoring stations have recorded a 3.2-magnitude earthquake on the Richter scale, east of the town of El Guattar, in the Gafsa governorate. The earthquake occurred on Monday at 4:38 a.m. local time. According to preliminary analyses from the National Meteorology Institute's stations, the epicenter of the earthquake is located at 34.33 degrees latitude and 8.87 degrees longitude, east of the El Guattar region.
