Preparations for the New Saharan and Oasian Tourist Season Underway
According to the interim regional delegate for tourism, Béchir Guediri, preparations for the new Saharan and oasian tourist season have begun. This season, which spans from October to April, attracts numerous national and foreign tourists, particularly in the regions of Matmata and El Hamma.
Establishment of Surveillance Committees
The delegate specified that the regional committee for controlling offenses in the tourist environment has been activated. He visited various tourist facilities as well as historical and archaeological sites. The committee called on establishment owners and concerned municipalities to improve the cleanliness and aesthetics of these locations.
Additionally, the regional committee for securing the tourist environment has also been established. Its role is to protect tourists inside and outside establishments, allowing them to have memorable vacations.
Quality Control of Services
As part of the improvement of services and adherence to health standards, inspections were conducted in hotels and tourist residences. The objective was to verify the quality of services offered to visitors as well as compliance with health regulations within these establishments.
