Water Distribution Disruption in Gabès, Tunisia
The National Water Exploitation and Distribution Company (SONEDE) announced that a malfunction occurred on Thursday, December 18, 2025, on the pumping pipeline from the Zarat seawater desalination station. This incident will cause disruptions and cuts in the distribution of drinking water in the following areas:
- Localities under the delegation of Gabès Sud
- High areas of Gabès Ville The company expects a gradual resumption of normal supply from tomorrow, Friday, December 19, 2025, at 6:00 a.m. SONEDE specified that the repair work will continue uninterrupted, 24/7, until the necessary interventions are completed.
