The implementation of a framework agreement for the removal of construction waste in Gabès is ongoing, as part of efforts to improve the environmental situation in the city. Recently launched by the Ministry of Environment, this agreement aims to remove 50,000 cubic meters of construction waste and transfer it from the city of Gabès to the controlled landfill of Dissa, in the delegation of Gabès-Ouest, according to the regional representative of the ministry, Tarek Ben Salem. The intervention sites have been identified in coordination with regional authorities and the municipality of Gabès, particularly the surroundings of the wholesale market, one of the city's main black spots, he specified to the TAP Agency.
