What’s on Offer?
The Agriculture Department’s goal is to provide citizens with affordable, high‑quality farm products, including:
- Fresh vegetables and fruits
- Poultry (chicken) and eggs
- Lamb and beef meat
All items come directly from national agricultural farms, ensuring traceability and supporting local producers.
Why This Initiative Matters
- Ramadan demand: The month of Ramadan sees a surge in consumption of fresh produce and meat for traditional meals.
- Price relief: By cutting out middlemen, the program offers preferential prices that are easier on household budgets.
- Food security: Ensuring a steady supply of essential agricultural goods helps stabilize the market during a peak consumption period.
