Local Committee of the Tunisian Red Crescent in Bab Bhar Organizes Free Multidisciplinary Health Caravan
The local committee of the Tunisian Red Crescent in Bab Bhar is organizing a free and multidisciplinary health caravan from October 27th to November 2nd, in front of the Tunis Municipal Theater.
Objective of the Caravan
This caravan is part of the global "Pink October" campaign, which aims to raise awareness about the importance of early breast cancer screening, as well as the diagnosis of gynecological diseases, hypertension, and diabetes, and the realization of necessary periodic examinations.
Services Offered
The caravan will include medical consultations in various specialties, such as:
- General medicine
- Cardiology
- Pediatrics
- Geriatrics
- Gynecology
- Pneumology
- Dermatology These consultations will be interspersed with early breast cancer screenings, blood sugar level measurements, and blood pressure checks.
Special Events
As part of this caravan, a special day will be dedicated to blood donation, and educational and awareness sessions will be organized on:
- The importance of early breast cancer screening
- Recognizing symptoms of breast cancer
- Means of preventing breast cancer
- Causes and negative effects of breast cancer This initiative aims to promote health awareness and provide free medical services to the community, while emphasizing the importance of early detection and prevention of diseases.
