Tunisian Football Federation Finalizes Preparations for Friendly Match against Brazil
The Tunisian Football Federation (FTF) is currently finalizing the last organizational arrangements for the upcoming friendly match between Tunisia and Brazil, scheduled to take place in November in France as part of the FIFA days, announced FTF President Moez Naceur on Monday to the TAP agency. "The Tunisian team is revising its ambitions upwards after this 7th qualification to the World Cup final phase, and without conceding a single goal during the qualifiers," he said, emphasizing that the Carthage Eagles are seriously betting on the title in the upcoming Arab Cup and Africa Cup of Nations (CAN). He added: "Tunisia is a great football nation, and the destiny of our team is to play the leading roles and aim for titles, both at the Arab and African levels." The friendly match between Tunisia and Brazil is part of the national team's preparation for the Arab Cup (December 1-18, 2025, in Qatar) and the CAN (December 21, 2025 - January 18, 2026, in Morocco). Tunisia has faced Brazil twice in its history: in June 1973 at the El-Menzah stadium, a match won by Brazil with a score of 4-1; and in September 2022 at the Parc des Princes in Paris, with a 1-5 defeat for the Tunisians.
