Ideal Sparring Partner for Tunisia's National Team A'
We couldn't have hoped for a better sparring partner than Egypt for our national team A', which is preparing for the important FIFA Arab Cup 2025.
Upcoming Tournaments
As the next editions of the FIFA Arab Cup and the Africa Cup of Nations (CAN) overlap, the Tunisian Football Federation (FTF) has divided the participation in these two tournaments between the national teams A and A'. The national team A will participate in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, which will take place in Morocco from December 21, 2025, to January 18, 2026. Meanwhile, the national team A' will take part in the 2025 FIFA Arab Cup, scheduled to be held in Qatar from December 1 to 18, 2025.
Preparations for the FIFA Arab Cup
In preparation for the tournament in Qatar, the national team A' flew to Ismailia on Thursday for a double friendly match against Egypt. The first test will take place tonight at 6:00 PM, while the second friendly match is scheduled for Tuesday evening.
Notable Players
The national team A', considered the antechamber of the national team A, has equal importance, contrary to what Youssef Snana and Louay Trayï might have thought when they declined the call-up. The team offers a great opportunity for international players on the extended list to compete in the second edition of the FIFA Arab Cup. Two notable names stand out in Abdelhay Ben Soltane's squad: Mohamed Dräger and Ghailane Chaalali. These two key players will have the task of guiding their young teammates, including talented players like:
- Khalil Ayari, who recently joined PSG
- Farès Bousnina (Bologna U20)
- Nassim Dendani (AS Monaco)
- Anis Doubal (Olympique de Marseille B)
- Amin Cherni (Göztepe SK)
A Great Opportunity
This talented group will have the opportunity to face a giant of African football, Egypt, in a double friendly match. This encounter will undoubtedly give us an idea of the national team A' dispositions just three months before the FIFA Arab Cup, an event not to be missed.
