Minister of Economy and Planning Receives French Company President
The Minister of Economy and Planning, Samir Abdelhafidh, received on Wednesday Libero Mazzone, President of the French company UR-POWER, specialized in the treatment and recycling of wastewater, as well as its valorization for the production of alternative energies and high-quality pure water, intended for the agricultural sector, among others.
Meeting Details
The meeting, held in the presence of Jalel Tbib, Director General of the Foreign Investment Promotion Agency (FIPA), allowed Mazzone to present the technical and technological solutions developed by his company and their advantages in terms of yield and production quality. He also expressed UR-POWER's willingness to invest in Tunisia through the implementation of a pilot project in this field.
Minister's Response
The Minister, for his part, welcomed this interest and reaffirmed the availability of his department, as well as FIPA, to support the company and ensure the necessary assistance and coordination for the realization of this project under the best conditions.
