Car Accident in Pirou, France
A car struck pedestrians on Saturday afternoon in Pirou, in the Manche department, in northwest France, resulting in one fatality and three injuries.
The prosecutor of Coutances, Gauthier Poupeau, stated that "the voluntary thesis is formally excluded". According to him, the driver of the vehicle suffered a medical emergency, which led to a loss of control. The car continued on its course for several meters before hitting a group of people.
A woman died and three other victims were hospitalized as emergencies.
