Tunisian Delegation to Participate in the 80th Session of the United Nations General Assembly
On the instructions of His Excellency the President of the Republic, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration, and Tunisians Abroad, Mr. Mohamed Ali Nafti, will lead the Tunisian delegation participating in the high-level segment of the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly, to be held in New York from September 22 to 29, 2025, under the theme: "Together, it's better: eighty years and beyond for peace, development, and human rights."
Key Activities and Events
The Minister will deliver Tunisia's statement during the general debate of the United Nations General Assembly and participate in the celebration of the anniversary of the founding of the United Nations. He will also present Tunisia's vision during high-level meetings that will address a range of issues related to multilateral cooperation in economic, financial, health, climate, women's, and youth areas.
Bilateral and Multilateral Meetings
In addition, the Minister will participate in Arab and Islamic coordination meetings, as well as those of the Group of 77 + China, organized on the sidelines of the session, and in several high-level activities dedicated to the Global Initiative for Health and Peace. The Minister will also hold several bilateral meetings with his counterparts from brotherly and friendly countries, as well as with representatives of United Nations bodies and organizations. These talks will provide an opportunity to strengthen bilateral and multilateral cooperation ties, diversify partnership relations in all fields, and exchange views on a number of regional and international issues of common interest.
