US Monastir Ends Contract with Coach Tarek Jarraya
The club announced the termination of its contractual relationship with head coach Tarek Jarraya.
The decision comes a day after the team suffered a 0‑1 home defeat on Saturday, during the 23rd matchday of the Ligue 1 championship against CS Sfaxien. The match was halted by the referee in the 90+2 minute due to projectile‑throwing incidents.
US Monastir had hired Tarek Jarraya on October 19 to replace former manager Montassar Louhichi.
Currently, the capital‑city side sits 5th in the league table with 37 points, trailing the leaders, Espérance de Tunis, by 16 points.
