President Kaïs Saïed Stresses the Need for Immediate Return of Tunisians Detained by Israeli Forces
The President of the Republic, Kaïs Saïed, emphasized during his meeting yesterday, Thursday, October 2, at the Carthage Palace with Mr. Mohamed Ali Nafti, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration, and Tunisians Abroad, the need to redouble efforts to ensure the return of Tunisians detained by Israeli forces as soon as possible.
He specified that intense and uninterrupted diplomatic work has been underway for several days, affirming that the Tunisian state will never abandon its national responsibilities. Tunisia, he added, remains firm and unwavering in its principled positions, and its voice is now heard and respected worldwide regarding the genocide crimes committed by the Israeli enemy against the Palestinian people.
In this context, the Head of State reaffirmed Tunisia's constant position in favor of the Palestinian people's right to recover all their rights and establish their independent, fully sovereign state on the entire Palestinian territory, with Al-Quds as its capital.
