Progress of Infrastructure Work
The work to consolidate infrastructure, clear canals, and clean up riverbanks has reached 70% in all regions of the country, in order to strengthen the protection of cities against flooding.
Minister's Visit to Kairouan
During a visit made on Monday, September 8, 2025, to the governorate of Kairouan, the minister specified that the ministry is committed to ensuring the safety of infrastructure and its ability to effectively evacuate rainwater.
Budget Allocation
The Ministry of Equipment and Housing has allocated a budget of approximately 36 million dinars for the consolidation and maintenance of flood protection infrastructure across the entire national territory.
