Financial Corruption Trial Postponed
The Specialized Criminal Chamber for financial corruption cases at the Court of First Instance in Tunis decided yesterday, Thursday, November 27, 2025, to postpone the trial of a former international football star, a former minister, and several relatives by marriage of the late President Ben Ali. This postponement, in a case of financial and administrative corruption, has been set for next January.
It is worth noting that the former international player was present at the hearing, as was the former minister, while the other defendants did not appear.
