Tunisia Considers Issuing International Bond in 2026

The Minister of Finance, Salma Michket Khaldi, stated on Thursday, October 30, 2025, during a joint hearing session before the Parliament's Finance Committee and the Council of Regions, that Tunisia is exploring the possibility of issuing a bond on the international financial market in 2026, estimated at 400 million euros, which would be a first since 2019.

The minister added that this return to the global financial market, through a bond issue, is a carefully considered option and that the State will present it on its own terms.
