Tunisian National Football Team Arrives in Doha for Arab Cup 2025
The delegation of the Tunisian national football team has arrived in the Qatari capital, Doha, in preparation for the finals of the Arab Cup 2025, which will take place from December 1 to 18, 2025, with the participation of 16 teams. The Tunisian ambassador to Qatar, Farhad Khalif, was present to welcome the delegation, and Tunisian supporters were also on hand to receive the national players.
Team Composition
The delegation of the Carthage Eagles team that traveled to Qatar, in addition to the technical, medical, and administrative staff, consisted of six players:

- Rian Anan The rest of the players will join the team's residence in Doha gradually, once their commitments with their respective clubs are completed.
Group Stage
The teams of Palestine and Syria have joined the teams of Tunisia and Qatar in Group A of the Arab Football Cup, after Palestine beat Libya on penalties (4-3) following a goalless draw (0-0), and Syria defeated South Sudan (2-0) in the qualifications for the Arab event.
Match Schedule
The Tunisian team will begin its participation in this Arab Cup by facing Syria on December 1 (2:00 PM), while Qatar will meet Palestine. On the second day, the Carthage Eagles will face Palestine on December 4, 2025 (3:30 PM), while Qatar will play against Syria. On the third and final day of Group A, Tunisia will face Qatar (6:00 PM) and Palestine will play against Syria on December 7.
Prize Money
The local organizing committee of the Arab Cup had previously announced an increase in the total value of the prizes to more than $36.5 million, a step that strengthens the tournament's position at the Arab and international levels. The committee specified in an official statement that "each team participating in the Arab Cup 2025 will receive $715,000, while the prize for reaching the quarterfinals will be $1,073,000." The fourth-place team will receive $2,146,000, the third-place team will win $2,862,000, the runner-up will receive $4,293,000, and the champion will receive $7,155,000. This financial structure aims to motivate teams to fight hard at every stage of the tournament.
Knockout Stage
The quarterfinal matches of the Arab Cup will take place on December 12 and 13, the semifinals on December 15, and the match for third place on December 17. The Lusail Stadium will host the final on December 18, 2025.
