Tunisian National Team
The Tunisian national football team drew 2-2 against Palestine on Thursday, December 4, 2025, during the second day of the Arab FIFA Cup Qatar 2025. With this result, Tunisia currently has only one point, just like Qatar, while Syria and Palestine each have 4 points. This situation puts Tunisia in a complex scenario to qualify for the quarterfinals:
- Draw between Syria and Palestine on the 3rd day: Tunisia and Qatar would be eliminated, regardless of the result of their direct confrontation.
- Syria wins against Palestine: Tunisia could qualify if it beats Qatar, provided it surpasses Palestine in the number of goals scored.
- Palestine wins against Syria: Tunisia's chances of qualifying would be null, even in the event of a win against Qatar, as qualification would be based on direct confrontations, with Syria having beaten Tunisia 1-0 in the first day. The Tunisian team will therefore have to closely monitor the results of the other matches and aim for a convincing victory against Qatar to keep all its chances of advancing to the quarterfinals.
