Fidaa Foundation Announces Free School and University Housing for Members' Children
The Fidaa Foundation announced on Thursday that it has decided, during a coordinated work session, to grant free school and university housing to the children of its members this year. This measure is being implemented without the need for prior registration on the digital platform. Beneficiaries will be able to obtain a status certificate from the Fidaa Foundation to present to the relevant authorities. An exchange of data and information will take place between the foundation and the concerned ministries.
It has also been decided to invite the social action departments of various entities to contact scholarship beneficiaries to submit their files within the specified deadlines, namely before September 10 for students and October 10 for vocational and university students.
Furthermore, it has been decided to request the representative of the Ministry of Education to ensure special accompaniment by school and institute directors for the children of martyrs on the occasion of the new school year. In addition, it has been agreed to accelerate the procedures for publishing a decree aimed at naming a school in honor of a martyr. Coordination between the Ministry of Education and the Fidaa Foundation will continue to develop a plan that establishes objective criteria for naming schools and institutes after martyrs. The goal is to go beyond the material aspect to make known the martyrs and their qualities within the concerned educational institutions, as part of a cultural approach that consecrates recognition and gratitude towards those who have sacrificed their lives for their country.
Moreover, it has been decided to submit the issue of caring for children with special needs to the examination of the Fidaa Foundation's specialized medical committee. It is also planned to continue coordination with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to establish a support system that takes into account symbolic and moral aspects when handling the files of children of martyrs.
