Red Cross Committee in Ezzahra Organizes Second Edition of "Run to Donate" Event

On Sunday morning, May 24, 2026, the local Red Cross Committee in Ezzahra, in collaboration with several partner institutions, held the second edition of the "Run to Donate" (Ejri lel khir) sports event. The proceeds from this event will be entirely donated to the rehabilitation of the Farhat Hached primary school in Ezzahra.

Approximately 1,000 participants of all ages gathered in front of the Zahroura urban park to take part in the various competitions scheduled. The event offered three distinct running courses: a 10 km circuit, a 5 km circuit, and a 1 km mini-course specifically designed for children.

"This event, which combines sports activity with a sense of social solidarity, has become an annual tradition that the local Red Cross Committee in Ezzahra is committed to perpetuating," said Mohamed Amine Ben Rejeb, President of the local Red Cross Committee in Ezzahra.

He also reminded that the profits from the first edition were dedicated to supporting children from low-income families to help them face the costs of the new school year, while this new edition aims to actively contribute to the renovation and restoration of the Farhat Hached primary school.
