Traffic Diversion at La Cagna Bridge
The Ministry of Equipment and Housing announced in a statement published on Tuesday evening that a partial traffic diversion will be implemented at La Cagna Bridge starting from Thursday, October 30, 2025. This measure is part of the ongoing works for the extension project of the southern entrance to the capital (lot n°2).
Traffic Instructions
According to the ministry, motorists coming from the Grand Burns Hospital and heading towards the center of Tunis, the airport, or Bizerte must stay on the far right lane before arriving at La Cagna Bridge and take the newly arranged road for this purpose.
Unchanged Traffic Flow
Traffic will remain unchanged for users heading towards El Wardia and Bab Alioua via La Cagna Bridge.
Safety Precautions
The ministry called on drivers to exercise caution and respect directional signage, reminding truck drivers of the obligation to comply with the ban on circulation in the capital during morning and evening peak hours.
